Hi! I’m Gabrielle.
Ironically, I first came to yoga for strength training. As a lifelong dancer, I thought I was looking for a way to make my body stronger. Instead, yoga gave me something I didn’t know I needed: freedom from the pressure to perform, a deeper relationship with my body, and a kind of mental ease I hadn’t experienced before.
I’m a choreographer, yoga teacher, and creative.
My passion for movement grew through 15 years of teaching yoga. Both dance and yoga have taught me how profoundly movement can support clarity, resilience, presence, and ease.
I also know how complicated wellness can become. In my own eating disorder recovery, I saw firsthand how easily diet culture can sneak into spaces that are supposed to help us feel better—turning self-care into another way to judge, control, or “fix” ourselves.
Returning to the roots of yoga helped me step outside of that noise. The more I practiced, studied the texts, and learned from my teachers, the more I understood that yoga is about so much more than what we do with our bodies. Yoga offers a rich and evolving tradition of inquiry: a way of paying attention, getting curious, and learning to see ourselves more clearly. I feel grateful to continue learning within a practice with such a deep lineage, and to honor that lineage through my own study and teaching.
That’s what I want to share with you. Not another system for fixing yourself, but a practice that can help you listen, feel, and come home to yourself.
